Privacy Policy
Effective: 29 September 2026
This policy explains what personal information Skycast, Inc. ("we", "us") collects when you play Fantasy Stables, visit fantasystables.com or buy from the web shop, what we do with it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We keep it short on purpose: we collect what the game needs to run, and not much else.
1. What we collect
When you play as a guest. The game creates a random key on your device; we store only a scrambled (hashed) version of it, which lets the same device return to the same farm. We also receive your device model (for example "iPhone 15") and the game's platform.
Your age. The first time you play, the game asks for the year you were born. We keep the year and the age group it falls in, so we can apply the protections in section 5.
If you sign in. Signing in (with an email code, Apple or Google) is optional and is not offered to players under 13. Our sign-in provider tells us a user ID, your email address and, if you share it, your name.
Your game. Your farm and progress (buildings, horses and their names, coins, gems, levels), the display name you choose, and a record of in-game earnings and spending. Your display name, level and horses' names can be seen by other players in shows, leaderboards and visits.
Gameplay events. Simple facts about how the game is played, such as "a training session finished" or "the daily reward was collected", with a number or two and the time. These tell us what to fix and what to balance; they do not include your email or messages.
Purchases. For in-app purchases, Apple or Google tell us the product, a transaction ID, the country of the store and, for Apple, the price paid. For web shop purchases, Stripe takes your card details — we never see or store your card number — and tells us the product, amount, tax, country and a payment ID; we also keep a Stripe customer ID for receipts and passes.
Crash reports. If the game hits an error or crashes, it sends us a report: what went wrong, the game version, your device model and system version, the screen you were on, and the game's own recent log lines (which describe what the game was doing, not what you typed). These tell us what to fix; we keep them for no more than 90 days.
Technical information. When your device talks to our servers, our hosting provider receives your IP address and basic request details. We use them to run the service, stop abuse and fix problems.
Contact. If you email us or join the waitlist, we keep your email address and what you tell us.
We do not collect your precise location, contacts, photos, microphone or camera.
2. How we use it
- To run the game: save and restore your farm, keep it in sync between devices, run shows and leaderboards, and deliver what you buy.
- To keep purchases honest: check each purchase with Apple, Google or Stripe, handle renewals and refunds, and prevent fraud.
- To protect younger players, as described in section 5.
- To understand and improve the game, from gameplay events in aggregate.
- To answer you when you contact us, and to send important notices about your account or purchases.
- To keep the service secure, meet legal obligations, and enforce our Terms.
We do not sell or share your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
3. Who we share it with
Only with companies that help us run Fantasy Stables, under contracts that limit what they can do with it:
- Railway — hosts our servers and database (United States).
- Authio — handles sign-in, if you sign in.
- Apple and Google — app stores and in-app payments.
- Stripe — web shop payments, tax and receipts.
We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect players or the public, to defend our rights, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of the business, in which case this policy continues to apply to it.
4. No ads
Fantasy Stables does not show ads, and we do not use your information for advertising or let advertisers track you in the game. The game is paid for by optional purchases. If we ever add ads, we will update this policy and ask for any consent the law requires before they start.
5. Children
Fantasy Stables is for a general audience, and we take particular care with younger players. Every player is asked their birth year the first time they play, on a neutral screen that does not suggest an answer. The first answer stands. If a player tells us they are under 13, we:
- do not let them sign in, so we do not collect their email address or name;
- do not let them use the web shop (in-app purchases stay subject to the device's parental controls, such as Apple's Ask to Buy);
- collect only what the game needs to work: the device key, their farm, gameplay events and the display name they type.
Please pick a display name that does not include a real name. If you are a parent or guardian and think your child has given us personal information, or you want to see or delete it, email hello@fantasystables.com and we will help, after checking that the request comes from the child's parent or guardian.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your farm and account for as long as you play. If an account is not used for 24 months, we may delete it. Purchase records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires (usually 7 years). Server logs are kept for a short time, normally no more than 30 days. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal information within 30 days, except what we must keep by law.
7. Your choices and rights
- Delete your account in the game. Settings → Farm data → Delete my account. It deletes your farm, your account and your sign-in (including the email held by our sign-in provider) at once, and cancels any web shop pass. A pass bought in the App Store or Google Play must be cancelled in your phone's settings.
- See, correct or delete. Email hello@fantasystables.com from the address you signed in with; if you play as a guest, tell us your display name, farm level and device so we can find your farm. Deleting your account deletes your farm and cannot be undone.
- Emails. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link. We will still send notices about purchases and your account.
We will not treat you differently for using any of these rights.
8. US state privacy rights
If you live in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, Oregon or another state with a consumer privacy law, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and share, to get a copy, to correct it, to delete it, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for targeted advertising. We do not sell or share personal information, and we do not use it for targeted advertising. You can use an authorised agent. We may ask you to confirm your identity before acting on a request, and you can appeal a decision by replying to our answer.
9. If you are in the EU, EEA or UK
Skycast, Inc. is the controller of your personal information. We rely on these legal bases: contract (to run the game and deliver purchases), legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, understanding how the game is played), legal obligation (tax records), and consent where the law requires it. You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our use of your information, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. You can complain to your local data protection authority. Your information is processed in the United States; where the law requires, we use the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (and the UK addendum) to protect it.
10. Security
We use encryption in transit, store only a hash of each guest key, keep payment card details out of our systems entirely, and limit who can access player data. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your information, we will tell you as the law requires.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will update the date above and tell you in the game or on this page before the change applies.
